Bugger: 7 hours in an isle seat coming up.

Those of you who ready my trip reports will know that there's on thing I always tend to have. And that's an Window Seat.

After a major bashing with my ticket booking agent and Air Canada to get a seat assigned today, I have been assigned a craphole seat of...

41G.

That's not too bad you may think dear reader. Except that's an isle seat. In the middle block of a 777-300ER.

Ok, it's not the end of the world considering I could be stuck in the middle of the middle block. Or in a middle seat end of matter.

However, what really annoyed me was that before I phoned up, I checked ExpertFlyer. And got this seat map:

Those of you with eyes will note that seat 61K is open. According to Air Canada - it isn't and all other window seats are taken (which is accurate).

So... someone's feed isn't right or someone is holding out a window seat on me. Which is it I wonder?

But 7 hours plus over the pond with no window. The IFE had *better* be working for once on this AC587....
